about me

from the time i was a very little girl no one could tell me what to wear...clothing was my form of creative expression...listening to my heart & following my path i got a degree in fashion merchandising, marketing & management in new york's greenwich village, started my fashion career as a visual merchandiser for jc penney & then macy's, dreaming of a job where i could dress "real people" instead of mannequins...


in 1995 i created & opened a boutique, Down to Earth in Hoboken, NJ... passionately styling my customers with ease & loving the creative process of designing each & every one of my store front windows, marketing concepts & advertising campaigns, i sold the business when it was 8 years old & it flourished for 16 years.
becoming a mom, i found another niche that needed to be filled & created, designed & opened another lucrative business in Hoboken, Romparoo, an indoor soft play ground for babies & toddlers...a fabulous creative experience & sold that still growing business for a profit... i was then hired by a client to create & design a boutique in Nyack, from planning to 2x4's to turn key, another successful business was born & continues to grow.... however, missing my fashion roots, i sought out my dream career of styling...


i am currently a freelance lead wardrobe & prop stylist for national & international commercial & advertising clients such as Similac & AT&T; as well as the head stylist/style editor for NJ Monthly, NJ Bride Magazine & formerly Park Place Magazine...styling & producing fashion shoots from the inception of the "idea & theme", scouting locations, casting models, hiring photographers, hair & make up artists, propping, editing & layouts...
